Piano - Tong Hua... or Yue Ting?
As I am curious, I tried to trace the piano... from which house. Haa.... I walk towards the music.. the house. I look inside the house, not a single soul. Then I look again, yeah, I saw someone playing on a piano. Oh, it's a small girl playing the Tong Hua. I look for a while, then I back off... haa... if not the small kid may think I am a Bad Guy standing at her door! Well, I just linger around and listen more attentively for a while more... then I realise, the music is been played at a rather high tempo... and some parts is not as smooth. But, overall, I still enjoy the music :). Well, at least she still can play a piano, I can't.
Btw, come to think of that music again... I wonder is it Tong Hua or Yue Ting? Haa... sometimes I just get confuse over this two songs :p

REM
Started off with Losing My Religion. The opening with the catchy guitar strumming immediately get me perk up a bit... . the familiar melodious and voice pull me to sit down and listen to Michael Stipe. Have you watched this MTV before? Haa.. that young man just dance off so stylishly.
Well, proceed to catch other REM cult songs... .. Sometimes I wonder why are REM's song are so addictive, its like, once I hear one I feel like hearing a few more. Wana just sit down and enjoy them :)
Everybody Hurts is one the other song that I love. Sometimes, just wana shed a tear along with it. I dunno whether is it the music or simply the fact everybody hurts (look at the lyrics below). Or maybe it is both that touch.
Well, many just can't be help been mesmerise by REM music and ,of coz, Michael's unique voice.
Btw, do you like the song One, by U2? If you are, you SHOULD listen to REM redition of this classic! Michael Stipe just... just.... do it so beautifully :).

Hong Kong 2008
Hee.. .. The weather during that time is hot in Hong Kong. We walk around. Shop around. Bargain around. Eat around. And sweat around.
It's kinda fun to explore Hong Kong and walk around with the map to places at our own. We bargain and order food with our very limited Cantonese... and, at times. throw in some Mandarain and English... are rather fun too. I have to say, most of the people that we had encountered are friendly and helpful. Thank you :).
Oh, yeah.. we have our fun at the Grand Lisboa casino, Macau. Playing and spinning the jackpot... and the 'Free Bonus' game.. haa.. We have try their Portugese egg-tart at one of the bakery shop. Great taste. I find it quite milky with an wonderful aroma. We should have buy more!!!
In Hong Kong, we have savor their excellent roast duck and geese rice. Wanton noodles and egg tart are yummy. The egg tart is so fragrant and with it melt-in-your-mouth 'fine texture' custard is simply delectable. A simple food, yet so tasty. Oh, we can find Shu Lu Shan, a mango dessert shop, at many corners in Hong Kong. Well, needless to say, one could expect various delicious mango dessert and drink here :)
We tour around Hong Kong by foot, very often and alot. Yeah. Sometime, maybe too much?? haa... Well, sometime we may have over-stretch ourselves. But I feel that, since one could still walk and have the time... one should walk and experience... what come may. To explore a country, walk the street. To taste the country's food culture, eat the street food.
Oh yeah, we have also catch Kelly Chen in an outdoor charity performance... haa.. She turn out be be more petite in real-life :)
Hong Kong. Macau. Dear.
It is a memorable trip :)

Breach
Hanssen (Chris Cooper) is a FBI agent. The mole in the bureau who is wanted by the FBI. Kate Burroughs (Laura Linney) leds the team to nab Hanssen, the all time biggest spy in the America's history. Eric O'Neill (Ryan Phillippe) is been tasked to be the assistant for Hanssen and his main assignment is to bring Hanssen to be behind the bar. Soon, Hanssen become O'Neill mentor and friend. There are various exciting moments... the Palm Pilot, the car searching and the Rock Creek Park scene... .. it take lots quick thinking and cool acting skill to pull off those acts at that time by O'Neill.
Cooper has really put on a superb performance. It's a shame that I do not know who is Linney until I had watched Breach! Linney is another first-rate actress!!! Woww... .. This film has an outstanding cast in Cooper, Linney and Phillippe. Oh, and Caroline Dhavernas (O'Neill's wife) is kinda sweet .. yeah? The film is definitely been further enhanced by the splendid cinematography (Tak Fujimoto) and the marvellous music score (Mychael Danna). I suppose the music has play a big part in glueing me to sit through the film. Sit tight and enjoy the music score in the credit part :)
A true story.

Money No Enough 2
Prior watching the film, I have half-expected it to be a ' so-so or not-good' production from Jack Neo. At the same time, I wana give 'his production another chance' before I give another comments. Well, in the midst of the film, I had knew the answer. The film turn out to be worse than what I had expected!!! :(
Some parts are rather draggy... Joke are of the 'same pattern'... Midway through the movie, the story seems to focus on the 3 sons' elderly mother. Well, I suppose, Jack thought it is the 'no money' element that had brought the mother to a pathetic journey till her death.. or simply wana add some 'emotion' to his film. But lots of time the part is too draggy (is it because .. running out of ideas??) and focus a lot on the mother which led to me ponder the film's tittle: is it called Money No Enough 2 or Mother?
The story contain scenes on the mother's Alzeimer's disease or Parkinson (I am not sure of the actual difference between this 2 sickness) where she insist his son to find her bra in the middle of the night and asking his son 'Have you eaten?' countless of times ... which bring laughters from the audience.. well, frankly, I duno that should I laugh or should I feel disgusted, coz the scene may be a bit 'funny' to some but has Jack think of the real life people whose parent also suffer from this same fate?? Although this is a comedy show, but somehow it is not a real-dumb comedy or slapstick (mo lei toe style- Stephen Chow's film) film. I suppose he intend to inject the mother's suffering condition to touch many hearts and intend to make it as a laughing matter at the same time, in this case, I dun think it should be mix togehter as a joke to these patient. Somehow, in the middle of the audience laughter, I feel like asking some of them... 'What is so funny?'.
Is this a comedy, informative, attack-government film or a 3-in-1 film? I could 'agreed' with some of the 'mother's story' eg, where the son put her in the toilet having her meal (which is quite disturbing) or wana send her to the Old Folk's Home, etc.. which the director wana inject some facts and emotions into the film. But I couldn't 'accept' the way that you wana intend to project real life saddness-suffering as a joke to the audience.
For this I give 2 thumbs down!
It is absolutely distasteful.
Although I personnally couldn't agreed with some parts of the film, I still respect Jack (minus some of the mother's scenes) for his courage and drive. I may not really like his movie style, but he did reach his goal and motive - to capture the mainstream Singaporean heart. And of course, one cannot deny his bravery to carry certain citizens' displeasure in his film.

1st Olympic Medal In My Life
A great achievement for the Singapore trio-women team :)
This is my 1st time in my life to see a Singapore win an Olympic medal in my life... haaa... ..
So now, we have a total of 2 Olympic medals - 2 silver, in Singapore history. In 1960 Rome, Tan Howe Liang won a silver in the weightlifting game.
Well, frankly, long ago I had always seem to think that Singapore could hardly has a chance in winning a Gold.. or any Olympic medals... it's only when the Singapore table-tennis team started to made wave in recent years that got us sit up... STAND UP for Singaopore! haa... ..
Now, the silver medal is in our hand, lots of sportsmen and Singaporean would take this experience to inspire and as a role model :)
There was a time when people say that we won't make it,
but we did. But we did.
:)
Wonderful Olympic Silver Medal to Singapore.. ... thank you .. Fang Tianwei, Li jiawei and Wang Yuegu :)
Oophs... He Did It Again.. !!!
He win another Olympic Gold Medal.
His team had break another new world record.
He break 7 World records and 1 Olympic record.
He win a total of 8 Gold Medal in Beijing Olympic 2008.
Michael Phelps is indeed incredible and a real champion.

Michael Phelps... Again...
Michael Phelps had done it again.
Michael Phelps had won the gold medal 200m IM.
And Michael Phelps had set a new world time record!!
Excellent!
The Heat Is On!!!
But .. for months...and days... before the Olympic Beijing 2008 opening... I didn't feel much excitement about it. I duno why.
But for the past few days, when I had started to watch the Olympic, GOSH, I am sort of hook on it again!!! Watching the swmming, archery, weight lifthing, table tennis, volleyball, beach volleyball.... etc.... :)
Excellent swim by Michael Phelps... he had already earn 5 gold medals.. .. and he is aiming for another 3 more gold!!
Well, we gona salute the Korean, Japanese and the Chinese for winning their gold medals in the swimming games too!!! Marvelous achievement for these sportsmen and sportswomen!!! :)
Oh, Michael Phelps is gona having his swimming final shortly... .. and I gona catch it.

Happy Birthday Singapore 2008!!!
This is a birthday gift that I had given to Singapore 43rd Birthday.
An artwork to mark this extraordinary occasion :)
Frankly, there are quite a lot of Sing Singapore's songs that I love and feel kinda touch (haa... a bit mushy-mushy, yeah? :p). Yeah, the simple and heart-felt lyrics are so meaningful and remind us of who we are.
Two of my favorite Sing Singapore's songs:
Kit Chan: Home
Stephanie Sun: We Will Get There
All thanks to Dick Lee for his patriotic-commercial song!!!
Here's the Sing Singapore website that you could listen and sing along to!!!
(oh.. but some of these songs are not the original version.. well, I still prefer some of the original versions!!!)

Welcome Robbie Keane!!!
:)
An fantastic and hardworking player who had ply his trade at Wolves, Coventry, Leeds, Inter Milan and Tottenham. And now, LIVERPOOL!!!
Keane is a goal-scorer and clever player. A forward who can head and shoot with confidence. An intelligent player with great movements and a team-player. And most importantly, Keane is a winner! The Kops certainly need more determine, tough and hungry players like Gerrard, Carragher, Torres and Mascherano.
I am definitely looking forward the on new season ... .. the striking partnership of Torres-Keane :)
Welcome Robbie Keane :)

Auld Lang Syne
It is a very, very familiar and old song to many people. I simply love Mairi Campbell and Dave Francis' version. Their version had added some twists to the tune which I had normally heard. A song that showcase Mairi's vocal and the beautiful guitar strumming. Mairi's voice and the tune are so warmth and simple, yet it deliver a kind of sweet-bitter mood lingering around the air. Mairi sing like she had gone through the experience of sweetness and bitter days... her version seems to evoke her singing feeling into me.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S1n-f-Zusaw
Auld Land Syne was believed to originate from Scottland.. ... might be around or even before 1700s.
Auld Lang Syne literally means "long long ago", "days gone by", "old day since", "days of long ago", "in olden days", "once upon a time", "for old time's sake"or "to the good old days".
Scots pronunciation guide:
Shid ald akwentans bee firgot,
an nivir brocht ti mynd?
Shid ald akwentans bee firgot,
an ald lang syn?
CHORUS:
Fir ald lang syn, ma deer,
fir ald lang syn,

An sheerly yil bee yur pynt-staup!
an sheerly al bee myn!
An will tak a cup o kyndnes yet,

CHORUS
We twa hay rin aboot the braes,

CHORUS
An thers a han,

And we’ll tak a right gude-willie-waught,

English lyrics:
Should old acquaintance be forgot,
and never brought to mind ?
Should old acquaintance be forgot,
and old lang syne ?
CHORUS:
For auld lang syne, my dear,
for auld lang syne,
we'll take a cup o’ kindness yet,
for auld lang syne.
And surely you’ll buy your pint cup !
And surely I’ll buy mine !
And we'll take a cup o’ kindness yet,

CHORUS
We two have run about the slopes,

CHORUS
We two have paddled in the stream,

But seas between us broad have roared
since auld lang syne.
CHORUS
And there’s a hand my trusty friend !
And give us a hand o’ thine !
And we’ll take a right good-will draught,

Spain.. The Winner Of UEFA EURO 2008!!!!
Spain. The so-called underachiever in the last 10 years had proven to be CHAMPION!!! A mighty champion, indeed.
All the rave is on Fernando Torres, the Liverpool striker ... (heee... yeah from LIVERPOOL), who score the only goal against the determine Germans. Senna, from Villareal, started a pass from the halfway line to Xavi. After a threading pass from Xavi, Torres beat the off side trap and out run Lahm. When the incoming Lehmann was about to dive and block the silver-soccer ball, Torres flick the ball in time over the German keeper.... and into the net! 1-0. Job completed. Mission accompolished. The cup laid in the hand on the worthy winner, Spainards.
In fact, Spain has 1 of the best teamwork and unity in this tournament. All their players work their socks off for each player, the team and the nation. Who can forget the ever overlapping attacking run from Ramos, from Real Madrid, although at times exposing the defending gap from his attacking instinct. Senna, who is Senna? Actually pardon me for my ignorance that I had not heard of Senna before this tournament. But after watching some of the games that the powerful and strong Senna had played, I wished I could watch more action from him in the future. (Hopefully Arsenal could get hold of him, as the Gunner now need a player like Senna after the departure of Flamini).
Casillas is a great Madrid keeper with talent and 1 of the most consistent player. Puyol, the big curly haired central defender from Barcelona, is great at reading games. Frankly, there are another 2 player who really deserved lots of credits are Andres Iniesta and Xavi. Both from the Barcelona team had shown incredible understanding. Although Iniesta is not a flying winger, he made intelligent run into the opponent territory. Xavi is a marvellous player to watch. Although Xavi is lacking in height, but look at how he marshall the midfield and his team. His self-belief passing is very accurate and deadly at times. Technical skill and composure were shown and proven from Iniesta and Xavi towards the end of the game against the Germans. Both teams were already beginning to show fatigue was creeping into their bodies, yet Iniesta and Xavi still control the ball skillfully, pass and run sharply. And of course, 1 could expect more action from Fabregas in the near future.
Althought the German shown great determination in their blood and more superior in built, the Spainards turn their smaller built and lack of height from disadvantage to their advantage. The Spain players show more nifty run and passes.
Most importantly, Spain defend and attack together. They play soccer. Beautiful soccer from Luis Aragones. :)
Btw, Aragones had shown enough courage to leave Raul out of the team. His reason: After 5 previous World Cup and European Championship, what had Raul won? None.
UEFA European 2008:
Top Scorer: David Villa, 4 goals (Spain)
Best Player: Xavi (Spain)
Champion: Spain

Under The Tuscan Sun
A just-divorced writer, Frances, had went to Tuscany on a happy-gay-tour and end up buying an amazing villa. When Frances' new home is under renovation process, she has go through the heart-breaking moments and new-found happiness. Soon Frances has befriended with the people around her. And her prayer to San Lorenzo has been quickly answer - to cook for someone... .. shortly she has to cook for plenty of someone :) . After the renovation, Frances' wishes had came true and happily ever after.
Under The Tuscan Sun, based on a book-memoir by Frances Mayes, is a humourous and heartwarming film. Watch the story. Watch Frances. Watch Tuscany. Hopefully... .. happy surprises to everyone :)
Diane Lane had bring the character of Frances to so much life! Woww... Bravo Diane :)
I am glad to know Diane Lane from this film as I had 'never' seen her before!
Tuscany.. breathtaking Tuscany... .. had made me even more wanted to visit Italy :)

Exciting Narnia!!!
Well, after that.. I went to watch The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. Oh, the film turned out to be more entertaining than I had expected! A few days ago, I had came across a certain newspaper's reporter, ermm.. editor, had given quite an average review with some 'complaints' about the family film. Well, luckily I choose to ignore his comments, once again, to watch Narnia. The film had given me some excitement moments, even though I expect good ending at the end of the show.. hee... .. I am delighted to watch this amusing film :) . In fact, I would be even more happy to sit through more than 2 and 1/2 hrs for the show!
The reporter mention about the loopholes in the film: why do the bad guys built the bridge when the good guys could just stroll across the river? Well, I thought the bridge could let the troops manouvre across the river with more efficent than across the water (running across the river or land, which is easier and faster??). And do you think it is easy to move the HUGE catapult across the river or the bridge? Well, if you say the bridge is too narrow... or they should built more bridge to step up the efficiency.. .. I could still take it, but it is still a family film!!! Do not take it too hard and serious!
The reporter also wonder where do the commoners suddenly appear from towards the end of the show? Well, do you think a king's fortress only consist of soldiers, servants and prisoners with no commoners living in or around the fort? My goddness, even though my history on Medievalism is not strong enough.. ... one could have seen countless of ancient show where there are commoners living in or nearby the fort!!!
Many times, I am glad to ignore these reporters' film comments. I am only interested in the storyline which they had covered... hee... .. :)

Lost In Translation
I still can't sleep.
Can't surf net. Can't read. Can't watch tv. Can't lay on my bed and sleep. Can't do anything.
No mood for anything.
Is the late evening Gloria Jeans ' caffeine taking it's effect now?
I duno.
Anyway, I look through my movies selection. Lost In Translation.
Since I had not watch it before, I play the disc then.
I could kinda feel the 'lost' feeling in the 2 characters.. ... Is it the characters had portrayed the soul so real? Or is it I was feeling so 'lost' at that time? Whatever it is, I could 'connect' with both of them.
Lost In Translation.
Maybe one would experience it... .. at some point of time.. ... .. .
What's In My Head?
What's in my head? .. in my head.. in my head.. .... more air... more junk... more confusion???
Whatever it is...
one thing for sure... ..
more souless.. ... .
I try to use my usual remedy.. ... . but it could only relieve me temporary.. it dosen't aid me this time..
well.. gona find my antidode asap :)
Well, anyone got a tonic for me?

Jogging
This morning was also my 1st time jogging along with my MP3 player. I had always resist from plugging music into my ear while jogging because the motivation to jog may come from the music and not from oneself. But last night I told myself to try it. Well, I go along with it.
Go. I ran. I had started to run. And .... I found myself trying to fit the earpiece into my ear. After a few stride, the left earpiece dropped off. I put it back. The right earpiece dropped off. I put it back. The left earpiece dropped off again and again ...... Ohh, it was rather distracting and I couldn't jog properly :(. But at the same time, I find myself running with greater stride than my last jogging (few days ago) :). Well, is it that my stamina had increased? Or the music had motivate me to run better? Or is it the earpiece had distracted me so much that I had forgotten to pace myself? Well, in the end I decided to plug just 1 earpiece into my right ear and hold the MP3 player with the left earpiece on my left hand. In the process, although I had ran better, I found myself arn't really enjoying my music and my jog. Maybe I am not use to the earpiece while jogging. I would prefer to jog with music 'out-from-the speaker' or without music at all. And it could be quite dangerous to jog with earpiece as I may not be able to hear vechicles (and bicycles) from behind.
Well, for the time being, I would jog without any earpiece :). I would continue to enjoy my jog in my usual style.
Many years ago, whenever I told people that I enjoy jogging, they would always find it 'strange'. They were thinking "who would like to JOG?", "who would like to puff and huff all the way" or "Jogging is a boring activity". I jog to stay healthy (hopefully), it is a great feeling to run (especially when you have the power and stamina... you would love to run 5km or 10km.... and more and more...), a kinda 'freedom' feeling when you run:), and I just like to jog :). Well, jogging is still 1 of my favorite leisure activity.

The Survey
Before the survey, I thought it would just be a list of questionaires for me to sit down and answer it. But never did I expected it to turn up to be a surprise for me. When I had been urshered into a conference room, I was been caught off-guard! I saw a lanky Cucasian guy, a laptop, video recorder. It turn out to be a one-to-one sit down session with a Dutch guy with video camera pointing at me! And 'there would be some people' standing behind the 'see-through' mirror observing us ... .. erm me. hee ..... ..
During the survey, the Dutch guy would ask "Where do you press?", "What are you thinking?" ... etc .... . Oh, I could sense that he was very curious .. on what the guy sitting beside him is going through his mind. I feel a bit of privacy intruding, but I could understanding his position, hence, I was more than willing to him my thoughts (and I am suppose to give him 'my answer', if not I shouldn't be here). At the same time, his manner and tone of this whole experince reminds me of those Hong Kong or Hollywood film - where the investigator/psychologist would ask the criminal why and how he commit the crime/the victim on what and how the crime had happen and taken place.
It is a fun survey ... .. with great 'rewards' :)

The Last Boat People
I wonder what is the life of these Vietnamese. Sometimes I would wonder how is the life of a poverty family, in Singapore or oversea. Sometimes I would also wonder if these people could grow up and make a name for themself, it would be very inspiring for others and for this world. Their story would then be just like a film. A touching fairy tale movie.
What ever lies ahead of the boat people, wish them good luck and good life :) .

Vocation 11-29 Feb
Overall, the whole 'vocation' had turned up better than I had expected. The budding and the atmosphere.
Every night, I couldn't sleep well. I had been waking up around 4-6 times in the middle of the night. Gosssh, it could be quite taxing at times. Maybe it was that my brain wana wake up on time at 6.30am, the 'Symphony Orchestra' or the 'opera singing' every night that had woke me up.
Well, the most important for the trip was to come back safe and sound :) .
Oh, come November/December, another 'Vocation" awaiting us again.

Penang Trip
Well, it is a rather relaxing trip. We had kinda enjoy this short visit. We had set off with her colleague, which we had stayed over at her house, to JB Checkpoint. From there, we hailed a cab to the JB's airport. And we proceed to take a plane to Penang, which was less than an hour of flight.
Penang, Penang.
There we are in Penang within a few hours from Singapore. :)
Her colleague's brother picked us up at the Penang's airport. And we went to fetch the colleague's little boy and mum. After that, we went to a coffee shop to have our lunch. We sit in an open area and under a big tree. We eat some simple fried Ban Mian. From there, we are driven to a Queensway shopping mall, aka the longest and biggest shopping mall. From there, Dear and I wonder around the mall. The mall was rather low-in-traffic. There isn't many people in the mall. But I like it. Not so noisy. Not so crowded. We could just feel free to wander around in and out of the shop without shoving and pushing around. :) I like the relaxing feeling. I kinda put everything behind my mind and just walk around.
In the late afternoon, the colleague's brother came and drove us around to visit the various 'places of interest' of Penang. One of the place we went to was Kek Lok Si, which was situated on a hill. We stop by along the way and went to eat Penang laksa along the street. After we finished our meal, we walked back to our car. Upon getting into the car, I saw a middle-age man walk up to the colleague's brother. He say something to him. Then the colleague's brother gave him some money. After getting into the car, I was curious and asked him what was the man doing? And he told me that guy say "CNY is coming soon... ", hence, he gave the man money. Well, he say the man might be from the area-thugs. After that, we stop at a place and walk up the slope and past some shops. Dear and I made some 'hurried-purchase' as the Kek Lok Si was closing soon, as I do not want to disappoint the colleague's mum who also wanted to pay a visit to monastery.
Well, after the visit... we also went to a beach. And from there, we travelled to the 'mainland', where their house is located. The colleague's brother told us that every day the Penang's people would made a trip and cross the bridge, for 1 hour journey, to the 'mainland' to work and the 'mainland''s people would vice-versa. hee... .. So I ask, "Why?". He also do not why is it so. Hee.... ..
When we had reached the 'mainland', we stop at a coffeeshop to have our dinner. Oohhh... it was a hearty meal. Large serving of sambal kang kong, hot plate tofu, braised pork, herbal chicken and a mixed vegetable soup, with rice, for 5 adults and 1 kid. And the whole meal was less than Ringgit $60.00.
The next day, I suppose I may have made a mistake by not going back to Penang, as I thought we may have wasted the time spent on the journey to and back to the mainland again. I thought it might be a bit rush to go there in the afternoon and back by evening and the time spent was not worth it. So the next day, my dear and I practically 'stick' to them the whole day, I kinda felt 'embaressed'. We were not their relatives and didn't pay them, yet we were 'with' them the whole day. :p In the afternoon, we went to a supermarket to walk around. Yeah, walk around the supermarket and the surrounding area. Haa.... coz 'there isn't much to move around to visit'. Haa.... It would be a bit boring for some people, but I had made the wrong choice to stay in the mainland.. so what to do? We just walk around then.... .. take it as a form of relaxing and cut off from your usual stuff. After that, we went over to the colleage's grandpa house. It was in a rural area. And I got to see the process of making the assam (a kind of food ingredient) from the fruit to the shredded pieces. Haa... A man was shaving the assam from a beach-like-shaver, then left the shredded assam to dry in the open air, under the sunny sun. Haa.... ..Ohhh, they have rambutan trees in their land. Oh yes, they have land! Real land, big piece of land. After plucking the rambutan from the tree, de-shell the rambutan, eat it... and throw the seed into/around the stream (at the back of their house)! Haa.... De-shell, eat and throw. :) I wonder if one were to taste the stream's water, would it have a rambutan favour taste?
At night, we went to a place of pasar malam and hawker centre. At the hawker centre we order some food, char kuey tiao and satay... good price :) and the food is tasty. The colleague recommend us a drink. She say it is called 'buay-long-long'. Huh? I thought what an interesting name. Haa... So I go up to the drink counter and told the man... (hestitately, coz I dunno if it is the 'true' name of the drink and the name sound weird)
I say, "2 buay-long-long drink"
The man look at me, "What?"
I repeat, "2 buay-long-long"
The look hard and frown at me, "What??!"
Gosssh... I thought I must have say the wrong drink name. Luckily, the colleague's brother came to my rescue and told them the correct name. Which I couldn't remember. It turn out that "buay-long-long" is the drink name in JB, but over there, they used a different name. :P So same drink, but under different name at different places.
Hee... but the drink is great and refreshing!!! So next time when going to JB.. coffee shop, I might wana try to order "Can I have buay-long-long drink".... hee...
The next day, before we take the flight back from Penang to JB, we visited the Snake Temple. After that we set off to the airport. And off we fly to JB .. ... .....
The whole trip was relaxing.. ... .. it is great. Although there isn't lots of very exciting moments, but I still enjoy very much of it. Spending the time together... walking around... ... put everything behind... ... lots of stuffs are cheap... .. looking at other people's lifestlye.. .. I didn't buy lots of stuffs for myself.. ... My gifts are the photographs and the moment that my Dear n I spent together. :)

Eastern Promises
Eastern Promises is a film by David Cronenberg, starring Viggo Mortensen (Nikolai Luzhin), Naomi Watts (Anna Khitrova) and Vincent Cassel (Kirill).
The story started with Anna, the midwife, delivered a baby for a teenager in London. And when the teenager had die, Anna is determine to know the details of her diary in Russian. When she finally get to know the truth behind the diary, things started to get messy. The film focus on the scene behind the world of the girl's diary, the Russian mafia. It also let the audience catch a glimpse on the symbolic tattoo on the body of a Russian gangster. Beside the diary and tattoo, Easter Promises had added a twist into the story as well.
The Canadian director had shot the film coolly with Nikolai getting rid of evidences on a dead man. The fighting scene of Nikolai with the thugs would let one miss a breathe. Eastern Promises may started off slowly to some, but when the story gradually pick-up, it made one sit up.
Well, I wonder which is the next gangster film I would be watching next .... hee... ..
Well, to date, I had watched gangster films on American, Russian, Italian, Brazilian, Hong Konger, Japanese, Korean and Singaporean... .. :)

American Gangster
It is a must-watch film! To release a great film, it needs a great story, great script, great director and great actors, etc. Well, this is an incredible and amazing movie! Not to be missed! I suppose this film is up for Oscar nominations. And look out for their retro style costume, sunglass, hairdo! hee... ..
American Gangster tell the story of a black guy building his brand. A story on the drug world during the Vietnam war and Mohammad Ali period. Denzel is Frank Lucas. A man who is fillial, cunning, go-getter and fearless. A rag-to-riches business man. A man who bring his mother to church on every Sunday. A man who handed out a truck of turkeys to strangers on Thanksgiving Day, just like his mentor. Russell is Ritchie Roberts. A man who hold high moral compass and daring. A cop who turn in piles of money, which can last him a luxury life, to the police.
The main focus on the story is of course Frank. An enterprise man (it amuse me that this film show Frank how to run a business and talk like a successful businessman, something which I didn't really see much in a drug film before) who made a name by himself. A black guy who had break into the Italian mafia drug stronghold. A guy on top of the game. A story on how he run his operation. His trips to the Golden Triangle, how he smuggle the opium to US, then to their process 'factory', and finally, to his 'distribution centres'. Oh, his operations remind me of the Hong Kong film, by Derek Yee, starring Andy Lau, Daniel Wu and Louis Khoo in The Protege. A story on how Frank work his way to become a godfather and his downfall. Btw, look at Denzel! He is incredible.
American Gangster also tell us on how Ritchie remain a righteous cop in a corrupting police force. Ritchie is an ex-Marine, who later join the Israel police force. And return to US to become a detective in New Jersey. A story on how he eventually head a team of anti-drug team. A team that consist of good cops, nothing less. Well, it also show his other side of story, that he is not a good husband and father. Oh, btw, Ritchie love potato chips, don't he? He made himself sandwich with potato chips in them! hee... .
Ritchie eventually caught Frank, who was sentence to 70yrs behind the bar. Ritchie become a Prosecutor Attorney and later become a Defence Attorney. As a Defence Attorney, he reduce Frank sentence to 15yrs, who was released in 1981. Ritchie choose to become a Defence Attorney, because he could choose to protect those who are in need. Well, I had to say, both Frank and Ritchie led an eventful life.
There are lots of interesting quotes in this film:
"Most important thing in business is honesty, integrity and hard work" - Frank's enterprise spirit.
"Never forget where we came from" - Frank's fillial and family spirit.
"Do what? Run? Hide? This is my home, my business, my wife, my mother, this is my country. I arn't going nowhere" - Frank's fearless attitdue.
"Either you're somebody, or you arn't nobody" - Frank's go-getter spirit.
This is a true story. Top grade.
What is a good guy? And what is a bad guy?
A guy who sold drugs, but a fillial son. Is he a bad or good guy?
A guy who stand by the law, but not a good father. Is he a good or bad guy?
A father who steal food for his son, is he a good guy?
Lots of times, what is usual stuff to you, is not usual stuff to me.
Seeing people poking needles is common to some. But not to some.
What is right, and what is not?
Many times, good and bad is just divided by a fine line.
Many times, we led a grey live.
Well, I wonder how are Frank and Ritchie doing now. Drop me a line if you know. :)
I admire them.

Talk Less, Win More
when you want to play a different style,
first they fight,
then they accept it and,
if you win, they love it.
But out style has to be convincing efficiently-wise,
because if you don't win,
then people will always question you.
The best thing for us to do is not talk too much and win games."

Truth Or Dare: 6th Floor Rear Flat
Of course, it is story about their friendship, love life, and they personnal goal in life. Actually, the story centre more on 1 of the gal, a writer, whose goal is to publish a book, her book. Along the way with her book, there is a love journey about her. Well, in the end she had fulfilled her dream. Her book could be found in bookstore's shelf.
It is a simple story. But it really tell the facts on what is going on through some youth. And of coz, it is a fantastic feeling to see your workpiece up there. Well, she must be overjoyed. Wish her all the luck in her future project :)
In the film, 1 of the guy's mum sing a cover on Beyond song. Well, I have to say.. . she sing it greatly and able to convey the 'touching' emotion in the song. Well, the guy sum it up "actually my mum know music more than I do".
It is a true story.
Oh, my friend, Adrian, is going to have his art exhibition with his other friends next week. Good luck to him as well :) .. ..
.. . and good luck to people who are in the process of showcasing their work to the world :)

Mr Chicken Rice
Do you love to eat Singapore chicken rice? Well, after tasting the chicken rice set, I find that it is great, but I am quite disappointed as I had expected it to be so really really fantastic as I had set a high standard for it. I would probably try it again.. when I am around the area. I doubt I will travel all the from my nothern home.
Well, I wonder how do the S$25.00 regular customers kept going back? Don't they think that there are also some other great chicken rice around Singapore? Those stalls may not taste as great as they feel it (different people, different taste), but with S$25.00, I could enjoy great S$4.00 Hokkien Mee, S$4.00 Char Kway Tiao, S$5.00 Chicken Rice and S$3.00 coffee, toast bread and boiled egg set and 1 movie ticket.

Sometimes, if time permit. I would love to enjoy movie-marathon (of coz must be good films) .. ..with nachos, chocolates and coffee. Woww. It's great. :)
Now, I gona watch Love Actually, which I had recorded from RecordTV. It is a great romantic, warm and humourous film. So far, this is one of the best Christmas-theme film I had ever watched.

CIB
Btw, in one of the story in this show, a newly appointed leader of the unit strongly believe that the criminal is having some serious illness or an illness associated with great pain. But his other two subordinates do not believes him at all. And they have another theory on this criminal. And they thought their new leader is telling a story tale with great imagination. Even the leader superior do not buy his version as well.
In the end, the criminal is shot dead. And he had 'man chang yen', before his final chapter.
Well, so is the leader correct to say that the criminal is suffering from some great pain? So does he have a great 'assumption'? If the criminal had been caught and had no illness he would be labeled as 'taking rubbish'. If the criminal had never been caught, the leader's 'assumption' will be a laughing stock, which in fact, he is correct.

Two Guys, One Girl and Amanda
The next gig is by Two Guys, One Girl and Amanda. Well, I am not sure is that really their band name???
Anyway, Amanda started off with a few songs which I had not really heard before. Then she jump into a cover on Faith, by George Michael. Then A Little Respect, by Erasure. Follow by Chasing Car, by Snow Patrol. Lastly a song by Cranberries ( I can't remember which song did she sing... heee). Well, the song are all rite. Of coz, we can't compare her to those great singer, George Michael, Erasure, Cranberries. These are really international BIG stars for good reasons. Their vocal are superb. Well, maybe Amanda did not perform seriously and consistently throughout the whole performance. Overall, she gave a decent gig.
And of coz, credit for her courage to perform on the stage.

Lust, Caution
An award winning film. A film that win 7 awards - Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Screenplay Adaptation, Best Film Score, Best Makeup and Costume Design and Best New Performer.
Tony Leung is always an outstanding actor. He is one of those elite actors that have absolute charisma. A face that give out unlimited expressions. A pair of eye that speak a thousands words. He could just sit down and smile, and you are been captured by him. Look at his classic suit in the film. Greatness.
Tang Wei is simple looking gal. Maybe it is of her simple and ordinary look that landed her the role, and of course, her Best new Performer award. Well, when she put on her Cheong Sum, make up and hairdo, she look like a drawing portrait. Yup, there were times that I am wondering is she an anime-computer effect (so popular in these days!!). Well, I have to say her poses, expressions and custome and makeup had make this film really beautiful.
Nevertheless, this is really a fantastic film. I had always like the old Shanghai setting. And I had not seen a good Shanghai setting show for ages. There are touching moments in this movie, however, sometimes there are moments for laugther as well. I wonder do Lee Ang put the laughter in with intention or have I mis-interpret it ... hee... ..
The original writer for this film is a Chinese writer, Eileen Chang. If not for her, this film would not be seen. If not for Lee Ang, this film might not be seen, as well.
Bread For The Old Lady
*Flashback - I remember when I was young and living in my old housing area, somtimes, my mum would packet some meals and told me to go and gave it to an old lady at her home, who is staying nearby us. Sometime when the old lady is not around the house, I would just walk into the house (the door is not lock) and left the packet of food there. Sometimes, I am afraid a large black dog, that loom around the area, would suddenly bark or jump into my path. hee...... *
Well, eventually I still went back to the same coffeshop at the MRT for a supper. After finished my meal, on my way home, I saw the old lady sitting at a corridor with many carton boxes (some flaten). She is sitting over there and eating somthing ( I think it is the bread from the lady). Hmmmm.... .. And I decided to made a U-turn again and go to a confectionery shop and buy a packet of red bean bread for her. Well, I thought the bread might be a bit "boring" for her, but I couldn't buy her noodles or fried rice as I am afraid that she might eat a little and keep the food overnight. The food might go stale, and cause her more harm. And I don't want to buy her those fanciful bread as she may not like it. So I go for the "normal" red bead bread as I thought old people may like it.
Of course, some people may feel "shy" to offer or feel that "why should they offer". Well, think about it, here I am enjoying a plate of supper but I do not buy her some simple food? If you were me, what would you think/do? Sometimes, we are lucky to have what we have right now.
If we can offer, we should offer.
Yeah?

Great Fight From The Reds!
Goals by Steven Gerrard, Fernando Torres, Dirk Kuyt and Ryan Babel had send the fans into ecstasy. A great comeback from the Reds team with 3 incredible straight win - 8-0 win over Besiktas, 4-1 win over FC Porto and a 4-0 win over Marseille.
Great goal from Torres, again. A pass from the talented Kewell and a run with stride and cool finish from Torres. Excellent goal.
Nevertheless, credit to all the players who really play together as a team.

The Reds War!
Fight on!!
Bring them on!!
We would conquer them!!!
So this is Christmas.. and what have you done?
And what have you done
Another year over
And a new one just begun"
John Lennon, Merry Christmas (War Is Over)
I had always love this song. The lyrics and the melody sound so simple, yet striking enough.
Lots of time, when I heard this song, I would think back on what have I done this (for that year) year. Well, lots of time, I didn't accompolish much. But this year (after so many years), I had finally done and complete 2 task. Mission completed. Although it is not a very big deal or big success, at least I try and fulfill it.
No. 1 - Vit M (2 years project and it is in the track, although it is far away from the destination). Although it is a bit late to kick-off this project, but at least "it is better late than never". Now it is moving to new phase.
No. 2 - FP (although this is not my first choice, but at least it fulfill part of my dream).
Of coz, FP had not being plan and move as what I had like, I hope it could be a better year ahead.
Next, I would like to see how S8 could develop. As usual - Saying is easy, Working on it is another thing. Well, maybe that is what made life so interesting. :) If everybody can do it, it is not special anymore.
Oh, back to the song-music. The music sound a bit sad, yet so heart-warming. Listen to the chorous part where the kids are singing. It sound great. And they sounded like "Hey, c'mon, another year is beginning soon. Another new start!". They sounded so enthusiastic and welcome of a new year.
Of coz, upon hearing this classic, it would also remind me of John Lennon. A talented artiste, who had left this world so early.
Somehow, I wonder this song sounded with so much feeling in it , is it becoz of the lyrics, melody or Mr Lennon who had left so early. Well, maybe is all the 3 reasons.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z1zm4E9d1oo
Btw, pal, what have you done this year? It may be a bit 'sour or empty' feeling for people who had not accompolish their mission, but at least this is a sentence that is very simple and a true progress in your life. Like it or not, life goes on. The world will not stop for you. Well, the mission could be anything, eg, enjoying time with your love ones, writing a book, completed your drawing, building up a cafe, be a successful salesman, be more healthy, have more sleep, eaten more ice cream, etc. There are tons of task.
Well, enjoy your life.
Take care.
And Merry Christmas to you.

Milka Chocolate Bar
I can't resist chocolate. I wonder why is chocolate so tempting?
I could easily wipe out and enjoy a full slab of chocolate bar, but
I always have to control myself not to finish off, coz it will be too
"heated" for me and I may end up with sore throat and cough for
weeks.

Auntie Asking and Saying Again
Trying to chat with me, she say "You still look the same.". I smile back.
And she ask "When are you getting married?". I smile back.
And she say "Wah, so long didn't see you. 1 year, see you 1 time only.". Again I smile back.
Hey, lots of time I wana say "Everytime you see me, you ask and say me the 3 same old stuffs again.".
Frankly, those stuffs could be translated to and I wish to say back (but I dun wana, coz you are my senior):
"You still look the same." - "You are still the same, still so skinny and not talking much."
Hey, you think I am on diet to stay slim? Yeah, I don't talk much... and partly is because I don't like talking to you. You are always trying to talk with pricks.
"When are you getting married?" - "You are already so old, what are you waiting for?"
Hey, you think marriage have to be forced? Frankly, are you really asking a general question or trying to rubbing salt into me? I don't mind some people asking me, but not you.
"Wah, so long didn't see you. 1 year, see you 1 time only." - "Where have you been, always disappear."
Hey, in 1 year, sometime you do pop into our house. And sometime during these visit, we do meet each other. Every annual CNY, most of the time we do meet each other. So total in 1 year, although we seldom meet each other, but we may have meet more than once. So what are you talking about? Or do you expect me to keep visiting you? But we are not that close, so I doubt so.
I bet you are going to ask and say those Code 3 again when you see me the next time.

The Clown Of England
McClown had made a clown out of England, again. And he intend to do it again, with no shame at all.
Having giving England the last chance to qualify for the European Cup, a draw is sufficient to earn the spot. He spilled the ball. Well, England lost 3-2 to Croatia. England failed to qualify. The country pride and honour had lost. And the clown still had the cheek to say "I am not stepping down"!!!
Hey, who do you think you are? What have you done to England? Nothing, but shame.
Do you mean England should give you another chance? Do you know what is the next Cup? It is the World Cup, by the way.
Croatia had nothing to play for as they had already qualify for the European Cup. But they still play to win. And they did with style. McClown just put up a team and wishes his team could win or draw?? Just putting up a 4-1-4-1 formation and tell your player to perform is easy. The Croatia manager had already stated earlier that England would play in this formation, and he is right. Well, there are tons of people who can write down a 4-4-2, 4-4-1-1, 4-1-3-2 formations. I can do that, so could I qualify to be the England manager as well? Again, McClown had shown he had no strategy sense. He can't put up a master plan to win the game. Look at the game, where is his strategy? Many people could also just come out with a eleven players formation. This is not a Division Two league. And once again, I had confirm my theory that he is not fit for England.
Ask any man on the street. Ask any football professionals. Ask his own players. Do they think McClown is the fit for England manager? I guess their answer is NO. Even his players would not comment that he is FIT and should CARRY ON as England manager. The player had stand by his manager all this while because they are a team and should stand by each other, but I had not heard that they comment he is the best candidate before. Players who had played under Jose Mourinho, Alex Ferguson, Arsene Wenger, Rafael Benitez would know where does McClown stand.
From day one, many had already question McClown on holding the pride of England. Simply because we know he had limited tactics. And he had prove it again.
McClown had qualify England in the record book. McClown had made an infamous record. McClown had lead England to disqualify from the European Cup.
McClown had put England to shame.

Liveline For England
Comes Wednesday. The last chance for England to pull through and qualify for the European Cup.
Well, lucky for McClown, for the time been. Let's hope England could overcome Croatia. I suppose the players would play with more spirits, their last chance.
And I suppose if England win, McClown would say "I had never doubt the capabilities of this team. I knewn we would qualify". Bullshit Steve, I suppose you must must sweating cold for the past few weeks! And you just use your luck in this campaign. You know it.
If England lost, McClown would say "Today is a hard game. We play without our top players". (Owen, Rooney, Terry, Ferdinand are injured). Come'on Steve, the European qualifying is not base on this match only. You lost dropped the points. A great manager would put up a great masterplan.
Well, if England could qualify, maybe the FA should consider a new manager.

Steve McClown
I can't help but to call McClaren the McClown, anymore!!
Well, I had been trying to refrain myself for calling McClown, coz it is not nice to call people names. But the more I look at his photo or his name been mentioned on newspapers, I could just feel my blood boil. After so many games, he still do not admit that he is letting the country down.
I am the supporter of England national soccer team. But I can't help but to boo-boo the current manager. Why? From the very first day, I had oppose Steve from being the England manager. Who is he to take charge of England? He is only the No.2 to Alex and Sven. What had he done to Middlesbrough? Nothing exciting. Where are they in the Premier League?
Look at the way he manage England. What strategies did he have? Well, I believe he has one - push the ball to the players. He just wish his millionare players could perform and get away lucky! Really, did you see any on field tactics that he had applied? He had no solid Plan B, don't talk about Plan C. His team selection are disastrous.
Well, now he may get lucky that the England FA are looking at "why England has gone wrong". They think it is becourse of the foreign players in the league. My goddness. So you think the curent crop of English players can't perform and win better than this pathetic Eurpean Cup results? You mean Ronney, Own, Lampard, Gerrad, Cole, Terry and company can't produce a much solid performance? Well, Steve may be lucky this time round that attention and blame have been shifted (poor Wenger, whose exciting team may get affected if FA decided to set a limit of foreign players).
Foreign players may or may not affect the level of English players (I may blog about this next time.. heee..). But. Face it. You have the current players. Lots of them are world class. And you can't put them together and achieve results?! Yeah, eleven world class player may not perform together. But still, here we are, and we don't deserve a much better results? Come'on Steve. you shouldn't lead England. We are now talking about England national team, not a Division 1 team. We are talking about a country's pride and honour. Frankly, even in Premier League, I don't think he could lead a team to top spot at consistant level.
Perhaps, England FA should take a look at another problem. Manager. Where are the English managers?? Who are managing the top-flight team in the Premier League? Gosh. Arsenal, Man Utd, Liverpool and Chelsea. All managed by foreign manager. Well, perhaps, should we impose a limit on foreign manager for our English clubs? Haa.. A soccer team is not only won by eleven soccer player. You need a great manager to be a great team. Jose Mourinho led FC Porto to Champion League Cup. Guus Hiddink guided South Korean to last four in World Cup! Most of these players are relatively unknown, before they achieved the results!
Come'on. Stop pointing the blames at the players. England FA should seriously decide how to breed their very own English manager. If not, we would end up with another clown.
If England do not make it to European Cup, I do not know that should I feel sad (how can my favorite team get booted out?!) or happy (that Steve had finally gone!).
Steve, you had make history.
But an infamous history that broken many hearts.

Champion League Biggest Score
Liverpool recorded the biggest score 8-0 over Besiktas in the Champion League!
Woww! It is even more fantastic as I had witnessed the moments of every goal.
Well, Yossi Benayoun had grabbed a hat-trick, a brace from Peter Crouch and Ryan Babel, and a goal from the Captain Steven Gerrard had make the historical 8-0. I kinda like Babel's first goal, a naughty back-flick that came off his boot. Well, of course, I would like to give great credit to Andriy Voronin. Although he did not grab any goals, but his work rate was super high power! In fact, a handful of goals, came from his assist.
March on, Reds!

Madonna
Well, I wonder do she really know about MADONNA? Perhaps, she is still young. Perhaps, she had not really listen and think about it on her last albums. Perhaps, she had not heard of her previous albums. Perhaps, she had not listen to her multi hit singles before. I ask her 'have you listen to Madonna's This Used To Be My Playground or Take A Bow?' She say 'No'. Apart from her latest album, she seem to be unable to name Madonna's other music. Well, I suppose I know how much she know about Madonna's music then.
Her latest album, Confessions On A Dancefloor, is one of her best dance album. She manage to input 80's disco with Year 2005 dance tune into this album. Look at her Hang-Up mtv. So 80's feel with so much style. Listen to her Jump. This album carry with so much PUNCH!
On her singles, listen to her:
Don't Tell Me - her cowboy style MTV, look at how she and her dancers move
Music - the groovy tune with a glamourous and colourful mtv
Hey You - an encouraging lyrics with a save the earth theme mtv
Don't Cry For Me Argentina - a touching song
Like A Prayer, La Isla Bonita, Vogue - a few examples of her 80's classic
She had much more hit singles. Too many to mention.
How many artistes dare to change as much as she did? How many artistes able to carry off with so much style than she did?
Madonna sing so with much feeling in her music. Hippie, happy, sad, pain. She carry off with greatness. She is able to convey her music with so much emotion. Madonna is able to produce music with style and still strike a commercial appeal. Winning recongnition from music critics.
Madonna is crowned the Queen of Pop for no reason.

Diana Krall - Besame Mucho
One day, I heard a song. A lady singing Besmae Mucho. She sing it with so much 'feeling' with it. So romantic feel. A little flirty, as well. Oh, a little sweet-bitter song too. A husky-musky voice. I thought this song is sang by a 60s-70s songstress. When I found out who is the artiste behind this beautiful classic, I was surprised! She is Diana Krall. Wowww. Diana had win me over straight away.
She sing it with so much tranquil that you would be captivated by her.

Pulau Perhentian - Redang
Just came back from a trip, 21th-24th, to Pulau Perhentian and Redang.
We stay at Pulau Perhentian. Our lodging is like a kampong style. Well, the accomodation, surrounding and our food (prepared by the islanders, we just eat what they cook for us) is quite interesting, if you keep an open mind to it. Go with a fun-seeking heart. Go without any burden (work, etc). Go with a peaceful mind. You would be like cut off from the bustling livestyle. Your cellphone doesn't have good reception. It is not easy to find any internet connection. Even if you bring tons of money, you couldn't spend much, as there arn't any place for you to splurge (unless you wana order great meals or rent the diving equipment). At night, there isn't much activity for fun. No nightspot. No shopping. No fancy restaurant.
In the day time, we go speed-boat ride to different sea creature's activities. Most of us kinda enjoy the wind-gushing journey, with the occasional bumping ride. It is really fun! Our guide bring us to see clown fish (Nemo) and other types of fish, turtle, sting ray, shark, coral. Upon reaching the water spot, our guides would call up "Jump, Jump, Jump", and we would snorkel around the area. Well, this is my (and my dear) first snorkelling experince! Just float on the water, submerge your head into the clear water, and you would see plenty of sea activites! Well, it is like entering into another area.
We also went to an island, where there is a natural water source! The natural water is icy cold. We drink and splash the water around. It is fun. After so many decades, no one know where is the exact location of the water source.
At Pulau Redeng, we also visit the More More Tea Inn (Summer Holiday - Hong Kong movie). Redang had more visitors and better lodging. But I suppose you need to spend more for it as well.
It is enjoyable and amusing trip!

Awesome Goals!!!
Look at the fast-pace, accurate and clinical shooting of Kaka. The famous right-foot of Beckham with breathtaking passes and freekicks. The thrusting runs and dribbling, nimble feet with tricks, and the deadly goals by Ronaldo. The classic and cool goals by Berkamp. And the master of balls - Zidane, whose exquisite touch and vision is totally magnificent. Look at the way he dance with the ball, caress it, flick it. Always remain so cool with it.
Ladies and Gentlmen, welcome to the most beautiful game in this planet.

Liverpool 2-0 Away Win
It is great to see the Reds produce a furious attacking away game. They control well and raid the home team. Another positive play by the new boys - Torres, Babel and Voronin. All of them put up a powerful attacking and team play. The counter attacks by the Reds are fast and furious, which led them to their second goal. A good link-up between Babel who pass to Torres and lay it off for Voronin to pull back the ball and strike a low shot!
Keep it up boys!

An Opening Win, 2007/2008
Great to see new boys Fernando Torres and Ryan Babel in action. Although Torres misses a few chances, he had shown some promising touches, movements and threats. Oh, and he had a pair of fast feet too! Babel is another flying man. Well, lets hope the young Spainard and the Dutch boy could clinch as much silverwares as they can for the Reds!
Btw, Gerrard's right-foot freekick is a wonder goal. A furious dipping goal that curl into the top corner!
Oh boys!

Do You Support Local?
What does their own industry's local people think of them? If their own people do not even have the faith, what do you expect from the public? Some will say that the local market do not have enough financial support. Well, if airing a local's new song once a day would hurt the station's financial badly. Or writing an article to promote the artiste every now and then would hurt the publishing's profit badly. If your own your people can't support and market for you, how do you expect the public to know you better?
I believe Olivia is good enough to built a fan base in this country. But do we get enough of her publicity? We prefer to promote Jay Chou, Andy Lau, Coldplay, Black Eye Peas for greater revenue. It make business sense. Then you can't blame the public for not knowing Olivia or Corraine May well enough. If they do not know them, how do they support them?
Well, maybe it is another Chicken Or Egg Come 1st.
When Will I See You Again?
When will we share our precious momentz againz.. ?
When will our heartz beat together againz.. ?
Sweet sweet love of mine.. .
