Striking Sensation

Liverpool had just won a 3-0 match against Spurs.

They display another control and attacking strategy. Up goes the tempo in the 2nd half. Gear up for a sudden fast and furious pace. They had attacks from the left and right flanks. Centre assaults. Low and high crosses.

Finally, a move by Captain Gerrard had Bellamy hitting the post from close range. But a follow-up by Gonzalez had earned the Chilean his 1st Anfield goal.

The 2nd goal is a stinger from Kuyt. A shot with power, accuracy and confidence. I believe there will be more similiar goals from the Dutch.

A counter-attack by the Reds result in another trademark shot by Riise. Another long, powerful and accurate shot.

Great team efforts. Great goals.

Alonso Goal !!

Few days ago, Liverpool had win 2-0 over the Toons. As usual, they had created numerous goal-scoring chances. But in this game, they managed to score. 2 goals. All connected to Xabi Alonso. The 1st goal was a diagonal defence splitting pass from Alonso which found Finnan laying on for Kuyt to score his 1st Anfield goal. The 2nd goal was a masterpiece. Alonso had lifted the ball from his own half. The ball shoot up high in the air and drop perfectly into the goal. No bouncing. Straight in.

Steve Irwin The Crocodile Hunter

I had always enjoy watching Steve Irwin's programmes. I could see that he was extremely passionate and had great knowledge with animals. It was amazing to see him getting so close up with dangerous crocodiles, snakes, etc, at times.

But, we could not see him record another programme anymore. He had been an unfortunate victim of a stingray. It's spine had pierced his heart while filming an underwater documentary on Australia's Great Barrier Reef.

The world had lost a Great TV host. An amazing animal lover.
