Champion of World Cup 2006?

My friend had just ask me that who would I think would win the World Cup 2006? I have no answer. I couldn't even shortlist 2-3 teams that have the potential to capture the Cup. Frankly, Germany, Argentina, Brazil, England and Italy are the teams that could lift the prestigious Cup.

Germany had home advantage and recent promising attacking play. Argentina swift attacks and compact play with match-winners Crespo, Saviola, Riquelme, Messi, Tevez. Brazil's crafty and fearfsome Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, Adriano, Kaka and Robinho. England's figthing spirit and the usual heros - Beckham, Gerrand, Rooney and Lampard. Italy's meanest defence and win at-all-cost attitude.

Who could be 100% sure to predict the winner? Only some of the most die-hard fans would insist their team to WIN. Sport Correspondents would jump to HEADLINE Team A to win it after a promising game. The next day, follow by SCREAMING out Team B to win it too after playing a beautful game as well. Many are bandwagon jumpers. But they are some who give insightful view and analysis. Rob Hughes top the list.

Welcome Bellamy To Anfield

Craig Bellamy has compeleted seal his transfer to Liverpool! It is a great news to Anfield and Bellamy. I have always admire the way Bellamy play with the ball. He is a pacy striker. He takes on defender. He has a winning metality.

Liverpool has added armour in their strikeforce now. I am excited to see Bellamy play alongside Fowler, Gerrand, Kewell, Garcia and company.

An early strong run in the league would put the Pools challenging for the tittle. Up against the usual contenders, The Gunners, The Red Devils and The Blues.

Good Luck Bellamy. Good Luck Liverpool.

DC Shoe

Today, I had brought a pair of DC Shoe at a 20% discount. But after walking out of the shop and went to a nearby shopping mall, 2 pair of Nike retro shoe caught my eyes! OOh! I had to control myself as not to spree again. But sad to say, I had to say goodbye to my POA Green Shoe. It has been worn out and the 'jaws' had split open.

Up to date, 2006 World Cup had been exciting! We have witness again the progress of competion in Japan, Korea and Africa teams. Though the gap between them and Europe could still be seen, nevertheless, they had narrowed the gap.

Japan and Korea played with pace, spirit and energy. Africa teams played with gut, power and skill. Europe teams played with tactical awareness, instinct, wit, experince and skill. Top South America teams, Argentina and Brazil played with flair, trickery and beautiful game.

Which team would you prefer to watch?

Beckham and Gerrard Again!

England 2 Trinidad & Tobago 0. David Beckham had nearly become the hero again! His famous pinpoint cross, a layoff from Lennon, had been thumped in by Crouch past Hislop. But I suppose, Gerrard would steal the headlines again! His typical screamer outside the penalty box had smashed in the second goal for England.

Beckham, Beckham. David Beckham the Pinpoint King.
Gerrard, Gerrad. Steven Gerrad the Smasher!!

England had progressed to the 2nd round of World Cup 2006, with a game to spare. I suppose Owen and Rooney will be paired for the Sweden fitness game. Walcott could be in action for some part of the game. And Lennon could be a starter.

Open Sky Or Jurong Bird Park

This few days I feel like a bird with a pair of growing and bursting wings in a small wooden cage. Over the next few days, I have to choose between flying in an open sky or Jurong Bird Park.

It would be challenging to fly in a colourful and dangerous journey in the open sky. It would give me a chance to fly and visit different country and their city. Planting my feathers in their soil. Nevertheless, I could be a victim to the preys.

Jurong Bird Park would be a safe place to live in. There would be food and shelther for me. I could also entertain audience with my little trick in picking up the cards or riding a bicycle. Jurong Bird Park could also market and brand itself famously. I may also have the chance to participate in a world entourage.

If you were birdie, would you choose living in an open sky or Jurong Bird Park?
