The Road To Guantanamo

This afternoon I had caught a film called The Road To Guantanamo. It were about 3 young Pakistani, been mistaken as the Figthers of the Al Qaeda, been held up by the US, eventually been led to Guantanamo as their final destination. There were actually 4 young men going to a wedding together. But 1 of them had gone MIA when they are moving off in a rush. No one know what had happened to him, even till today. The film also capture some humour during their stay at Guantanamo. This film offers some glimpse of the US affairs with the Al Qaeda, and of course Guantanamo.

A coming-soon film called The Lake House, starring Keanu and Sandra, is a romantic movie. It seems like a film drawing inspiration from a Korean film, Il Marie. Both films are about a guy and lady getting to know each other through a letterbox. They received letters from the opposite party. They were living years apart, yet they could received the letters on their real-time. And they are actually staying at the same location. Btw, Somewhere Only We Know is the soundtrack of The Lake House.

Recently I had watched some MTVs. I were watching some of the yesteryears rockers. Steelheart. Saigon Kick. STP. Queen. Warrant. Ugly Kid Joe. 4 Non Blonde. Blind Melon. etc, etc, etc... ... Rockers had always amused me when they played rock ballads. Their ballads were always amazing. They were often singing with so much passion and emotion in it, that would put many boybands and pop singers to shame. Lots of rockers do play piano and sometimes other classical instruments are also featured in the song too as many would think rock music are just about guitar, bass and drum.
